Stonington Players Tables and Chairs VI

Tables and Chairs VI, Stonington Players’ festival of nine short plays, opens at 8 p. m. on Friday, November 15, at the Stonington Community Center, 28 Cutler Street, and plays November 16, 22 and 23. Curtain for all evening performances is at 8 p .m. A 2 p. m. matinee is being presented on Sunday, November 17.
This year’s offering consists of contest submissions recently selected by the Players for production. Each has no more than five characters, runs no longer than 15 minutes and has minimal props beyond tables and chairs. Eighteen actors are cast in the production’s 21 roles..
The plays, playwrights and directors are ”Annunciation” by Suzanne Wingrove, directed by Anna Maria Trusky; ”Ars Longa, Vita Brevis” by Kevin Kane, directed by Jacqueline Princevalle; “Art of the Pickup” by Debbie Wiess, directed by Regan Morse; ”The Bachelor” by Stanley Toledo, directed by Tai Scavetta; “Harvest Ball” by Susan Goodell, directed by Vic Panciera; “Tale of Yield and Tire” by Vanessa David, directed by Bud Tucker; “Three Words” by Eion Carney, directed by Regan Morse; “Uncovered” by Michael Bergan, directed by David Foulkes and “The Wanderer” by Todd Wallinger, directed by Vic Panciera.
