GINGERBREAD HOUSE FESTIVAL EXTRAVAGANZA!
One of New England’s biggest Gingerbread House Festivals will take place in historic Wood Memorial Library & Museum again this year, so mark your calendars! Located on one of the prettiest streets in Connecticut, "old" Main Street is really a "village" unto itself: a 5-mile road dotted with historic homes from the 1700-1800's all along the CT River in the historic district of South Windsor! Step into Wood Library and you'll enter a "winter wonderland" filled with the sweet aroma of gingerbread! You'll see dozens of beautifully hand-crafted Gingerbread Houses in all shapes and sizes - many available for sale - along with gifts, cards, crafts and all things "gingerbread" in our "Ye Old Gingerbread Shop!" Don't Miss it!!
