Winter Riding Program at Treasure Hill Farm

WINTER RIDING PROGRAM
Thurs., December 27th -Mon., December 31st
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Instructor: Heather Navarrete, Treasure Hill Farm

Cost: $70 per day or $300 for the entire program (minimum five registrants). Riders should pack their own lunch.

Structure: Morning meeting, questions and answers, division into two groups. Each group rides for an hour, enjoys arts and crafts for an hour, then all students reconvene for horse management lessons, lunch, and a daily game.

Topics: Beginner, intermediate and advanced saddle instruction, longing, wrapping, veterinary care, equine illness and emergency protocol, conformation, and learn how conformation affects a horse’s way of traveling.
