Bob Steele on his new novel The Curse: big time gambling’s seduction of a small New England town. The book intertwines a family saga from the 17th century with the impact of casino gambling on Connecticut in the 20th century. It is a flesh and blood tale that starts with a curse from an Indian sachem and evolves into the modern battle: to build a new casino and is filled with political intrigue, history and identity in America today. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
