Mary Catherine Hilkert, O.P., Ph.D., professor of theology at the University of Notre Dame, will be on the Albertus Magnus College campus Tuesday, January 29, to give the second talk in the 2012-2013 St. Thomas Aquinas Lecture Series, named for the great scholar and member of the Dominican Order. In pursuit of truth in all its dimensions, Albertus honors its Catholic heritage and Dominican tradition.
Dr. Hilkert’s topic is “Reading the Word of God and the Book of Nature,” focusing on the ways in which the Book of Nature and the Bible can shed light on one another.
Free to the public, this event is made possible through the generosity of the Marie Louise Bianchi ’31 Fund. The talk will be at Devaney Hall, in Aquinas Hall, from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. To reserve a place, 203-773-8502.
