Love Songs of the Swing Era

Tuesday, February 12th, at 6:30 p.m., Westerly Public Library will be hosting a concert titled “Love Songs of the Swing Era”. This is a perfect event for right before Valentine’s Day so please drop in and enjoy the free music! This concert will be performed by Paul Hoffman, an East Greenwich based singer and guitarist who has been performing his one hour show "Love songs of the swing era" since 2004. The songs, mostly from the 1920's-1940's, are from what is commonly referred to as the great American Songbook, and feature the music of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and many other great composers of the period.
