The Art of the Cocktail

— Join Guilford Art Center for its second annual cocktail party fundraiser, celebrating creative mixology and fine art, this year with a Latin theme.

George Talbot of the Stone House in Guilford and 3-time Best Bartender winner in Best of New Haven’s Readers’ Poll, will be “dueling” with Kenny Burton of Donahue’s Madison Beach Grille, featured in CT.com’s Bartender Buddha series, and known for his signature “Kenny Colada.” Each bartender will be concocting imaginative cocktails for guests to savor while they enjoy Latin tapas, music by Puerto Rican classical guitarist Yovianna Garcia, and a silent auction of cocktail napkin-sized art, restaurant offerings, and more. The Art Center gallery will be featuring its Student Exhibit. Reservations are limited; call 203-453-5947 to reserve.
