Interactive Sales Manager

The Interactive Sales Manager will be responsible for connecting local digital and integrated sales opportunities, from the most recognized print and online media brand in southeastern CT, to advertisers across our region. The Interactive Sales Manager position requires a highly motivated and organized team leader. The ideal candidate must be a self- starter with strong attention to detail with the ability to meet short deadlines and work well in a fast paced environment. This is a challenging, multi-faceted role requiring strong skills in a numerous areas, including interactive sales, management, training, and developing customized, targeted multimedia solutions from a broad and diverse portfolio of digital and social media products. The qualified candidate will have a College degree and a minimum of 3 years of media sales and management experience along with a strong desire to win! This is a salary plus commission position. Account Executive Tourism Specialist

This sales position is responsible for development of new business in specialty magazines and tourism publications produced by The Day. Digital Operations Specialist/Ad Trafficker

This full-time position is responsible for trafficking online advertising campaigns, testing creative, ad tags, specs, as well as troubleshooting any technical issues or problems that arise. Also responsible for working with third party vendors on digital initiatives. The successful candidate must have 1-3 years experience in online ad trafficking and/or advertising operations or equivalent. Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on HTML, understanding of web-based operating systems and knowledge and understanding of Google Analytics, Email marketing and Ad Serving Platforms (DFP, APT). Must have ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.


This full-time position is responsible for developing and selling the complete compliment of Day products including print, digital, contests and promotions; providing information to advertisers in a consultative manner; creating effective, professional sales presentations; and creating strong relationships with the local community. Strong knowledge of print and online media and sales experience in online, print, broadcast, cable or radio a plus. Must be comfortable with cold-calling to develop new business. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple products in a deadline-driven environment. Must have a valid driver's license and daily access to an automobile.
