Front End Web Developer/Designer
This full-time position is responsible for writing interesting, thoughtful copy that encourages the consumer to take action. Responsible for developing and executing innovative concepts and copy for cross-channel initiatives including sponsored content, direct mail, digital, social and traditional marketing communications. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Literature or Communication preferred, or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years' experience as an integrated marketing copywriter. Wide ranging portfolio focused on direct marketing campaigns with a strong print emphasis (including conceptual and copy expertise) and digital marketing. Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
Custom Publications and Tourism Account Executive
This full-time position is responsible for an existing group of advertising accounts for specific Custom Publications including, but not limited to, Tourism Magazines, Periodical Publications and Special Sections of The Day. Also responsible for cold calling new accounts in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of The Day's product offerings, specifically Custom Publications. 3-5 years of sales experience required. Ability to engage new advertisers in tourism publications and maintain strong advertising and community relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Digital Sales Account Executive
This full-time position is responsible for working with existing and future customers to uncover opportunities to grow our customer's business and provide solutions to address business needs, using a combination of theday.com and internet services such as Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing programs. A good knowledge of Social Media marketing such as Facebook Twitter and Foursquare is required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. At least 2 year of success in digital sales required. Must be comfortable with cold-calling to develop new business. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple products in a deadline-driven environment. Impeccable time management and organization skills. Must have a valid driver's license and daily access to an automobile.
