Did you know that Walt Disney used storytelling to sell his vision? And that he used storyboards to share his dream? That he was an “inside out” thinker, connecting with people on an emotional level? During this exciting two hour gathering, we will use storyboarding (just like Disney did) to help transform your board, staff and other supporters into effective champions of your organization. You will learn how to engage your staff, board and others to authentically share their own stories to generate greater unrestricted revenue. You’ll leave with nuggets and tools that you can immediately implement. Change your story, change your destiny!

Presenter: Judith Green

Judith Green is a Revenue Development Non Profit Consultant and Coach. As a results oriented visionary, Judith has a proven record of success in generating great wealth for nonprofit organizations in her 30-year versatile career.

Avery Copp House Tours (Fri./Sat./Sun.)

Community
Avery Copp House, 174 Thames Street, Groton, CT

The Avery-Copp House, located at 154 Thames St. in Groton, will be open to the public for guided tours through October 12. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults and free to children under age 12.
The Colonial style house, built in the early 1800s, was Victorianized at the turn of the 20th century. It houses the story of an American family that lived there for 200 years. Furnishings are original and a testament to Yankee thrift, inventiveness and hard work. Two Victorian gazebos sit above the house on the terraced lawns overlooking the Thames River.
The house is open seasonally and by appointment year round. Events for families and the general public are offered throughout the year, including a Fall Garden Party, a Christmas Open House, Charles Dickens dramatic readings, tours and lectures.
