Whether it's a hand-crafted whirly-gig to launch outside on the cottage lawn or a time-tested collection of nautical lamps & sea glass to let the inside glow, The Gen. Stanton Flea Market has a large supply of unique collectibles & antiques to make a cottage a cottage.As schools close & cottages open for the summer,vendors at The Flea Market stock their booths with items to buoy the spirits of cottage owners, cottage renters & everyone else. Two to five year olds will delight in listening to stories, singing songs, and making a themed craft. All this free fun takes place in the Community Room. Each program lasts approximately thirty minutes. No need to sign up -- just drop in!
However, we will not hold Toddler Time on the following holiday dates: February 17, May 26, September 1 and October 13.

Halloween Costume Drop Off

The Stonington Free Library will collect children's Halloween costumes from Sept. 3 - 30. All costumes MUST be CLEAN, COMPLETE and on a hanger with size marked and a plastic (grocery style) bag attached.

We will have FREE shopping from Oct. 1 - 10. Any leftover costumes will be donated. Call 860-535-0658 for more information.
