The Old Lyme-Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library will hold a reading of Louis Sachar’s “Sideways Stories from Wayside School” every Wednesday in January (1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28) from 4:30-5:00PM. Kids in grades 2-5 can grab a couple of s'mores (our recipe is peanut-free AND delicious) and munch away as they listen to stories of Terrible Todd, Louis the Yard Teacher, Mrs. Gork, and the rest of Wayside’s strange cast of characters. You don’t have to attend all the sessions to participate, but advanced registration is required. This service is free and open to the public. The Library is located at 2 Library Lane, off Lyme Street.
